Two Guys Break Into A Car…
October 9th, 2008 by RadarWell, I’ll assume it was two. Some idiot(s) in the middle of the night smashed the corner of my back-right window and rifled through my car looking for something. Obviously they didn’t find it because the car is still there. They changed the gearstick to reverse, took off the handbrake and moved an American flag I had in the boot into the backseat (I know! The outrage!). Everything’s still in the car, just in more disarray than usual.

Oh and they knocked the bulb out of the interior light, smashing the plastic covering in the progress.
In further news, my driver’s side door no longer opens.

I once had my car broken into. I figure there was $10,000 in PA equipment, computer hardware (including an iPod that was state of the art at the time), and general goods (leather jacket, etc), but they only broke in to get a bite of a bad sandwhich I had on the back seat. It had been sitting there overnight at that. The damage done to my car was about $500, which was less than my insurance deductible, so I never really did anything about it.
