I have opened up comments to the general public at the bequest of Ralxz. No more do you need to look for the non-existent register link to post a comment, just specify your name and a message when you post a comment. Don’t be surprised if it doesn’t come up instantly, I (with a little help from Akismet) moderate all the comments on the site.

    Ideally I should’ve sent this to the spam bin, but I know what Akismet does with IPs that are flagged as spammers, and that’s a fate worse than death.

    They add them to a spam-ban list which is then checked by every blog running Wordpress with Akismet. If the IP is on this list then the comment is automatically blocked, meaning that you’ll never be able to comment on a wordpress blog again.
